Since February 2017, Prof. Dr. Mihai Netea has a new working group - Immunology and Metabolism - at the LIMES Institute. He is employed both at the University of Nijmegen and the University of Bonn. To get to know him a bit, we asked him a few questions.

"He is a world-renowned immunologist, and his discovery of the "trained immune system" was a break-through documented by a series of outstanding publications and international awards. Prof. Netea will be an excellent addition to out workgroups and create new opportunities. His special interest will be the establishment of in vitro organ cultures that contain functional immune cells."
