What are the new approaches available for the development of modern vaccines? What are the causal factors in immune-mediated diseases such as chronic rheumatoid arthritis or multiple sclerosis? How can immunotherapy combat tumors? These and many other questions will be discussed by researchers at the annual meeting of the German Society for Immunology (DGfI) that will take place in Bonn, during 17 - 20 September 2014,  at the World Conference Center in the former German Government quarter (“Regierungsviertel”) .

Conference convenors are scientists from the University of Bonn’s Excellence Cluster "ImmunoSensation", of which the LIMES Institute is a primary partner.  Bonn is a great hub for Immunology, promising an excellent program for the 4-day meeting. The conference has attracted over 900 scientists, students and experts from academia, industry and government organizations, who will presend and discuss basic- and application-oriented immunological research.
